Abstract and Paper Submission

Please submit a 200-300 words abstract reporting research motivations, methods and results by November 23rd, 2015. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit full manuscripts by February 17th, 2016. All received manuscripts will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceeding by Springer, online on the renowned portal Elsevier Procedia and as a hardcopy conference issue.

Abstract submission

Please post your abstract via the Elsevier Procedia website. The abstract should be between 200-300 words.

When submitting an abstract, please follow these guidelines:

  • Log In
  • Click on "Submit New Manuscript"
  • At the "Select Article Type" stage, please ensure you select "SI: CIRP ICRM 2016" to ensure inclusion in the proceedings.
  • At the "Select Section/Category" stage, please choose "SI: CIRP ICRM 2016".
  • At the "Request Editor" stage, please also select the "SI: CIRP ICRM 2016" option.

Full paper submission

After your abstract has been accepted, you will be asked to submit a full paper. Please use the following template provided by Elsevier Publishing. You can request the template to be sent to you by e-mail at:

Please follow the template and guidelines provided as papers which do not meet these criteria may be returned for resubmission causing a delay to publication.
